Sophia supervises home and community based ABA and IBI teams in the region of Waterloo, for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioural disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings with many different populations, including centre-based programs, school support, and adult day programs.
She has always known that her future career would involve helping and working with children. Applied Behaviour Analysis has proven to be the perfect avenue. She received her Honours B.A. in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University, and her Master of Applied Disability Studies (M.ADS) at Brock University. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and certified Proloquo2Go 4 Trainer.
Sophia is an active member, in good standing, of the Association for Behaviour Analysis International (ABAI) and Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA).
